Job Description

We are hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to accelerate user acquisition and drive growth across our platform. In this role, you will own our growth strategy and drive user acquisition for our consumer product on Pangram.com. You'll lead experiments across multiple channels including content marketing, paid acquisition, partnerships, and referral programs, while developing deep insights into our educator customer base. This is a hands-on role where you'll execute campaigns, analyze data, and iterate rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute our growth marketing strategy
  • Develop and manage multi-channel acquisition campaigns (content marketing, paid ads, SEO) to reach educators
  • Develop our content strategy to align Pangram's brand as a trusted tool for academic integrity while improving Pangram's onsite SEO.
  • Execute SEO strategy including onsite content and offsite link building, with the goal of ranking first on high-traffic keywords such as 'AI detector.'
  • Establish and track growth metrics, conduct A/B tests, and use data to continuously optimize campaign performance
  • Build marketing automation workflows to drive user engagement and reduce churn

Requirements

  • 6+ years of growth marketing experience for a consumer product
  • Proven track record of scaling user acquisition from early stage (10K+ users) to growth stage (100K+ users)
  • Analytical skills with experience in cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and growth modeling
  • Experience with SEO, content marketing, and building organic acquisition channels
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, SQL) and A/B testing platforms for data-driven optimization
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn with demonstrated ROI optimization
  • Experience in EdTech or education technology markets, with understanding of higher education customer acquisition
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs), paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta), and marketing automation systems
  • Track record at venture-backed startups or high-growth companies, with experience scaling marketing teams and building product-led growth strategies

  • Base salary: $140,000 - $200,000
