A common question: does Pangram use the text you submit to train its models?
No. Pangram never uses your data to train our models.
When you submit text or documents for AI detection, that content is used only to run the check and show you your results.
What this means in practice
- Your submissions are not used for training, ever.
- Your data is not sold or shared for marketing.
- Your data is used only to provide the detection service to you and your institution.
How your data is handled during detection
When you run a check, your content is processed in an isolated, temporary environment and then stored securely so you can view your results on demand. Each detection job runs separately, and no part of your submission is retained inside the AI model itself.
No third-party AI
Pangram uses its own specialized detection model. Your data is never sent to outside AI providers, so it is never exposed to third-party training or shared AI services.
