How your data is stored
Pangram stores all your data in the United States, on Amazon Web Services — in their US East region, with encrypted backups in US West. Nothing is stored in the EEA or China.
Everything is encrypted, both while moving between systems (TLS 1.3) and while sitting in storage (AES-256). Your account info and submitted content live in a secure database; logs live separately. Different customers' data is kept separated so you only ever see your own.
How long does Pangram store your data?
Your account and submitted content are kept until you request deletion, or 365 days after your license expires — whichever comes first. Security and activity logs are automatically deleted after 180 days, and usage/billing records after 6 months. If your contract ends, Pangram holds your data for one year, then returns and permanently deletes it.
