How to tag and group scans with Pangram

Organize related scans together so they are easier to find and review.

Last reviewed Jul 24, 2026

Tagging and grouping scans lets you keep related Pangram scans together — for example, all submissions from one project, assignment, or class.

Create a tag

  1. Open your Pangram dashboard and navigate to "All Checks" by clicking "All Checks" in the sidebar or going to https://www.pangram.com/history.
  2. Select the "Columns" dropdown on the upper right and select "Tags" as a column.
  3. Then, you can create a tag by clicking the Plus icon on the right of any scan. Once a tag is created, you can use the Plus icon to quickly tag any scan with it. Pangram also tags scans by default with their classification (Human, AI, Mixed) and scan type (Chrome-Extension, Website, API)

Create and add to groups

  1. Select the green plus icon on the top left of the history page to create a group
  2. Select the custom or built-in tags that you wish to define the group by and click Create a Group.
  3. You can tag a scan from the history page by enabling the "Tags" column and clicking the plus icon to select a custom tag (see above), or from the scan viewer by selecting Notes in the top right and tagging the scan there.
  4. Your group will save in the top of the history page where you can click in to the group to view scans from that group
